The All Goa Parish Youth Executive Committee Meet was held on 16th July 2023 at St. Joseph Vaz Spiritual Renewal Centre, Old Goa. Over 235 youngsters from 121 parishes all over Goa attended the meet. This meet catered to the formation and awareness of the various programmes of the Diocesan Youth Centre and was a platform to learn many new things about the Youth ministry in our Diocese.  The youngsters were oriented towards creativity and spirituality, the meet also included animations with action songs on various melodies. The gathering was briefed on the statutes and guidelines of the Diocesan Youth Centre and was followed by intense discussion on various queries which were addressed by Fr. Blaise Lobo, the Diocesan Youth Director. He continued with a session on 10 Essential Tenets for the youth. The Eucharistic celebration was themed on strengthening the leadership role of the exco members.

The youngsters interacted with one another and also learnt about the various traditional and creative activities which could be conducted throughout the year to keep the youngsters motivated. Later on, they used their creative ideas to create a logo for their group activity. Finally, a copy of the statutes and guidelines and the DYC planner for the pastoral year 2023-24 were handed on to each Parish/Chapel that attended the meeting. The whole day was a blend of spiritual zest, fun filled learning and joyful interaction.
